Wing Chain Beats Applebee’s Best Burger

Additional Coverage:

Applebee’s and Buffalo Wild Wings are American dining staples. While Buffalo Wild Wings is known for its chicken, I recently tried their cheeseburger and was pleasantly surprised.

As a self-proclaimed burger enthusiast, I decided to compare Buffalo Wild Wings’ cheeseburger to Applebee’s, a restaurant famous for its burgers.

I started with Applebee’s classic cheeseburger. It was part of a combo meal, but the burger alone costs around $17. The burger featured two slices of American cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and pickles on a brioche bun.

While the patty looked a bit overcooked, it was juicy and cooked to a perfect medium-rare. The melted cheese, fresh toppings, and buttery bun created a delicious, balanced bite.

Next, I tried the All-American Cheeseburger from Buffalo Wild Wings. At around $14.50, it was slightly cheaper than Applebee’s.

To my surprise, the Buffalo Wild Wings burger came with two patties. Each patty was crispy, covered in melted cheese, and topped with lettuce, tomato, pickles, mayonnaise, and mustard.

The double patties made the burger incredibly juicy and filling. It reminded me of a classic fast-food burger but better. The combination of flavors and the price made it a great value.

Ultimately, Buffalo Wild Wings’ burger impressed me more. While Applebee’s makes a good burger, the extra patty and lower price at Buffalo Wild Wings made it the winner in my book.
