Robin Roberts Warns Michael Strahan on Live TV

Additional Coverage:

Good Morning America co-hosts Robin Roberts and Michael Strahan’s playful banter continues. Robin recently called out Michael for a comment he made on live television. This comes just days after some sports fans criticized Michael for supporting the Philadelphia Eagles during Super Bowl coverage.

On Wednesday’s GMA, Rebecca Jarvis reported on rising coffee and chocolate prices. After the report, Michael shared a Valentine’s Day-related thought, sparking laughter in the studio.

With Valentine’s Day around the corner, Rebecca’s report discussed increasing prices for common gifts. She explained that a coffee bean shortage and weather conditions could lead to higher coffee prices. Chocolate prices are also rising, but Rebecca suggested buying from grocery or drug stores to save money.

After the report, Michael quipped, “You know what’s going through my mind… I’m already chocolate and I’m the same price.” The studio erupted in laughter.

Robin revealed she knew what Michael was thinking and had silently urged him not to say it. Michael insisted he had to, while Rebecca playfully called him “price-less.” George Stephanopoulos, also at the desk, simply smiled and chuckled, “Thanks for sharing.”

In other news, Robin Roberts recently appeared on Sherri Shepherd’s talk show. A photo of Robin and her wife, Amber Laign, at Gayle King’s birthday party was shown. Sherri greeted Amber, who was in the audience.

Robin shared that she and Amber live apart during the week due to work schedules. Robin stays in New York City for GMA, while Amber lives in their Connecticut home.

Robin explained this arrangement helps them maintain their individual identities and makes their reunions even more special. While it isn’t ideal for all couples, it works for them.

It’s likely the couple will reunite for a special Valentine’s Day celebration, though the exact date remains unknown.
