Hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs is suing NBC, Peacock, and production company Ample for $100 million. The lawsuit centers around the documentary “Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy,” which aired on Peacock.
Combs claims the documentary makes false and defamatory statements, accusing him of serious crimes including murder, rape, and sex trafficking. He alleges the documentary portrays him as a “monster” and contains claims the filmmakers knew were untrue.
The lawsuit specifically points to accusations of Combs murdering both his former partner Kim Porter and rapper Biggie Smalls, calling the claims reckless and malicious. Combs’ lawyer, Erica Wolff, accused the companies of prioritizing profit over journalistic integrity.
This lawsuit follows a wave of allegations against Combs over the past 16 months, including accusations of kidnapping, drugging, and sexual assault. He currently faces over 30 civil lawsuits and criminal charges for sex trafficking and racketeering, all of which he denies.
Combs has consistently denied all allegations, maintaining his innocence in both the civil and criminal cases. His lawyer previously stated that the truth would prevail in court and that Combs never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone.
