Pete Davidson Calls Dating Life “Living Hell”

Additional Coverage:

Comedian Pete Davidson has spoken out about the intense media scrutiny surrounding his dating life. The 31-year-old Saturday Night Live alum says the constant attention has made his life a “living hell.”

Davidson’s relationships with high-profile figures like Ariana Grande and Kim Kardashian have frequently landed him in the headlines. His brief engagement to Grande in 2018 brought his romantic life into the public eye.

He later dated Kardashian from October 2021 to August 2022, a relationship that began during the filming of Saturday Night Live.

Davidson believes his looks have contributed to the negative press. He feels he has been unfairly targeted and humiliated, particularly compared to other actors his age who are also dating in Hollywood.

He mentioned Paul Mescal, Timothée Chalamet, and Barry Keoghan as examples, saying that they don’t receive the same level of negative attention. Davidson feels the focus on his relationships has overshadowed his comedic work, particularly his early success on SNL.

This comes after news that Davidson and actress Madelyn Cline recently ended their relationship amicably. The pair reportedly split last summer after a year of dating.

Meanwhile, Davidson’s ex-fiancée Ariana Grande is reportedly dating her Wicked co-star, Ethan Slater. Slater recently praised Grande’s hard work on the film. He has also spoken about the difficulties of dealing with public scrutiny of his own personal life.
