Joy Behar Forgets Mean Cohosts

Additional Coverage:

Longtime “The View” co-host Joy Behar recently discussed her approach to dealing with difficult people. She says she doesn’t spend much time dwelling on it.

During a recent episode, the 82-year-old Behar explained her forgiving nature. She admitted she rarely remembers when someone is unkind, even at the show’s own table.

This prompted co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin to assure Behar that no one on the current panel had been mean to her. Behar clarified, “Not now,” acknowledging her 28 years on the show have provided plenty of opportunities for conflict.

Behar’s time on “The View” has had its ups and downs. She was one of the original co-hosts in 1997 but was fired in 2013. She later attributed her dismissal to someone wanting her gone.

However, any bad blood seems to have dissipated. Behar returned as a permanent host in 2015.

She’s even stated she was “glad to be fired” at the time, though she’s since forgotten the reasons for her earlier discontent. This seems to prove her point about her ability to forgive and forget.
