Local woman throws extravagant Las Vegas birthday bash for her more reserved sister. The author, a self-described lover of luxury and celebrations, planned the entire getaway. She wanted her sister’s 50th birthday to be a memorable event.
The group of four friends stayed in the Paris Las Vegas’s new Versailles Tower. Their room had a balcony overlooking the Bellagio fountains, providing a spectacular view.
The birthday girl was adorned with a “50 and fabulous” sash and tiara, much to the author’s delight. The group enjoyed a range of activities, starting with cocktails and appetizers at Lisa Vanderpump’s Pinky’s lounge. They followed that up with a Mariah Carey concert.
The next day began with a decadent brunch featuring mimosas and cronuts. A spa day at Caesars Palace’s Qua Baths was next on the agenda. The author considers spa time an essential part of any girls’ trip.
That evening, the group dined at Bobby Flay’s Amalfi restaurant. They then enjoyed some casino games before heading to Caspian’s Rock and Roe for caviar and live music.
The author felt the trip was a huge success. She believes it showed her sister the joy of indulging and celebrating a milestone birthday. More importantly, she hopes it demonstrated how much she loves her sister.
