Price Is Right Model Reveals Secret Backstage Area

Additional Coverage:

“The Price is Right” offers viewers a shot at being on stage with Drew Carey, but few get a glimpse behind the scenes. Model Rachel Reynolds recently gave fans a rare tour of the game storage area, a place even she hadn’t seen before.

The room is massive, filled with iconic games like Plinko and Cliff Hangers. Reynolds pointed out the “Gas Money” game, where a Tacoma woman once won an Audi R8. She also showed the tricky “Half Off” boxes, explaining how difficult they are to handle.

The storage area also holds pieces of “Price is Right” history. Set pieces are signed by crew members, a tradition dating back to the 1970s. Reynolds showed off some of these signatures.

The games are meticulously stored, highlighting the care taken to maintain them. Even with this care, on-stage malfunctions happen. Host Drew Carey once famously kicked a faulty “Flip Flop” game into working, allowing a contestant to win a trip to Germany.
