Game Show Dreams Come True on Let’s Make a Deal, But Not Without a Little Drama
Let’s Make a Deal host Wayne Brady, known for his playful interactions with contestants, recently experienced a whirlwind of emotions during a prize reveal. A contestant dressed as an avocado, overcome with excitement, delivered a heartfelt tribute to Brady before the big reveal, calling him a “legend” and praising his legacy.
The prize behind curtain number one? A shiny, new Nissan Versa!
The contestant, Carmelle, erupted in joyous screams, dropping to her knees and pounding the stage floor in disbelief. Brady, concerned, checked on her well-being amidst the emotional outburst.
After helping her up, he explained the next game, “Go For a Spin,” which involved a wheel with cash prizes, Zonk symbols, and a car symbol.
Carmelle had the chance to improve her odds by answering three questions correctly, each right answer removing a Zonk. The questions, based on audience polls, presented choices like “Tattoos/Piercings,” “Wizards/Vampires,” and “Burgers/Tacos.” Only getting one right, she nonetheless revealed another car symbol on the wheel.
As the wheel spun, the tension mounted. Brady, caught up in the moment, could be heard yelling, urging the wheel towards the car symbol.
And it worked! The wheel landed on the car, sending Carmelle into another round of happy screams.
Even the show’s producer, Chris Ahearn, joined in the celebration with a congratulatory hug.
Carmelle, calling the win “unbelievable,” finally got to admire her new ride, joined by Brady, model Tiffany Coyne, announcer Jonathan Mangum, and Ahearn. A truly unforgettable moment on Let’s Make a Deal.
