Rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, 74, is giving fans an inside look at his ongoing battle with Parkinson’s disease in a new Paramount+ documentary, No Escape From Now, set to air later this year. The film will chronicle Osbourne’s preparations for his farewell concert, scheduled for July 5th in his hometown of Birmingham, England.

While the “Crazy Train” singer plans to perform both solo and with Black Sabbath, he has acknowledged his health limitations, stating he won’t be on stage for the entire show. Other bands, including Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, and Tool, will also perform.

In promoting the documentary, Osbourne revealed that music has been his lifeline. “The last six years have been full of some of the worst times I’ve been through,” he shared.

He candidly admitted there were times he thought his “number was up,” but creating two new albums helped him cope. He expressed gratitude for his fans’ enduring support and sees the Birmingham concert as a way to properly say goodbye.

Sharon Osbourne, Ozzy’s wife, hopes the documentary will highlight his courage in facing numerous health challenges. She emphasized the film’s honest portrayal of Ozzy’s current reality and believes it will inspire others facing similar struggles.
