Tesla Charging Stations Torched in Suspicious Fires

Littleton, MA – A string of suspicious fires early Monday morning has left seven Tesla charging stations at The Point Shopping Center charred and unusable. Littleton Police and Fire Departments responded to the scene around 1:10 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers found several stations engulfed in flames and billowing dark smoke. Despite efforts to quickly shut down power, another station caught fire before the Littleton Electric Light & Water Department could cut the electricity.

Authorities, including the Massachusetts State Police Fire and Explosion Investigation Unit, are investigating the incident and have determined the fires were intentionally set. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

This case falls under the Arson Watch Reward Program, which offers up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact authorities.

This incident comes on the heels of increased scrutiny of Tesla and its CEO, Elon Musk, due to his role in the Department of Government Efficiency and recent controversial federal spending cuts. Protests have taken place nationwide at Tesla showrooms over the weekend. The investigation into the Littleton fires is ongoing.
