Veteran actor John Goodman, 72, sustained a hip injury while filming an untitled Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures movie starring Tom Cruise. The incident occurred at Pinewood Studios in the U.K. and resulted in Goodman being taken to the hospital.
A Warner Bros. spokesperson confirmed the injury, stating that Goodman received immediate medical attention and that filming was briefly delayed. Production is expected to resume next week following Goodman’s recovery.
Directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu, the film also stars Sandra Hüller, Michael Stuhlbarg, Jesse Plemons, and Sophie Wilde. This marks Iñárritu’s first English-language film since 2016’s The Revenant. Plot details are currently unavailable.
