Ben Affleck Jokes About Son’s Expensive Taste in Sneakers
Actor Ben Affleck recently shared a humorous anecdote about parenting and expensive sneakers. While at the premiere of “The Accountant 2” at SXSW, Affleck recounted a viral video featuring his 13-year-old son, Samuel, admiring a $6,000 pair of Dior Air Force 1s. Affleck quipped to Access Hollywood, “That’s what happens when you tell a motherf—er they have to mow a lawn,” adding that his son suddenly lost interest in the pricey shoes, claiming he’d “always said they were tough.”
Affleck jokingly discussed the challenges of parenting teenagers, telling the reporter, “It’s always some grift… I’m like, ‘Man, you do not need thousand-dollar shoes!’
