Double the Contestants, Double the Cars: Twins Triumph on ‘The Price is Right’
Twin sisters Amy and Charleen doubled their luck on a special “twins” episode of “The Price is Right,” driving away with not one, but two brand new cars. Host Drew Carey presided over the fun, explaining that everything on this special episode came in pairs.
The game? Appropriately named “Pick A Pair.”
Announcer George Gray revealed the prize: a pair of Scion IQ smart cars. The game challenged the sisters to select two grocery items with identical prices from a group of six. If their initial picks didn’t match, they got a second chance to choose one item from their original guess and another from the remaining items.
With three matching price pairs hidden among the groceries, the odds were already in their favor. The second guess sweetened the deal even further.
Amy and Charleen chose a stick of butter first, revealing a price of $3.19. After a quick consultation with the audience, they selected the decorations.
The tension mounted as Drew revealed the price… a perfect match! The sisters had correctly chosen the only two items placed next to each other on the display.
The ecstatic twins rushed to their gleaming new cars, celebrating their victory with matching winner tags. This wasn’t the first “twin-tastic” episode for “The Price is Right,” which has featured several twin specials, including a 2022 episode with “Young Sheldon” stars Lain Armitage and Raegan Revord as celebrity models. That particular episode also featured some impressive prizes, including a tech room, a music room, and a trip to Texas.
