Coffee Creamer Recalled Due to Spoilage
Danone North America, the parent company of International Delight, has issued a voluntary recall of over 75,000 bottles of coffee creamer due to potential spoilage. The recall, upgraded to a Class II recall by the FDA, affects 32-ounce bottles of Hazelnut and Cinnabon Classic Cinnamon Roll flavors with expiration dates of July 2, 2025, and July 3, 2025, respectively. Both recalled products bear the plant code 51-4114 R-S.
The recall impacts 31 states: Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
According to a Danone North America representative, a limited quantity of the product did not meet quality standards due to premature spoilage, identified as a texture issue. While the company assures consumers this is not a food safety concern, the recall was issued out of an abundance of caution. This is the latest in a series of food recalls in 2025, including a recent recall of a lemonade product due to an undeclared additive.
