Elon Musk Sets Up Gaming Station in DC Office Amidst Federal Agency Cuts

Billionaire Elon Musk, heading the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), has reportedly outfitted his Washington D.C. office with a large television for video games, according to sources. Musk’s department is tasked with identifying and eliminating wasteful spending within federal agencies, and recently proposed a 20% reduction in the IRS workforce.

Musk’s office, located in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building (EEOB) near the White House, reportedly includes a gaming PC setup, as revealed in recent photos. His penchant for gaming is well-documented, with past admissions of even cheating to achieve high scores. The office’s luxurious amenities, including the television, were reportedly arranged with the assistance of political advisor Chris Young.

This news comes as Musk and the president have implied that federal workers are undeserving of their paychecks, leading to significant layoffs. Furthermore, reports indicate Musk has occasionally slept in his DOGE office, utilizing the couch or even the floor, despite the EEOB’s amenities, which include a cafeteria, bowling alley, and gym.

His four-year-old son has also been seen around the office. Sources also suggest Musk spends time at Mar-a-Lago.

Musk’s office sleeping habits aren’t new. He has previously stated he lived in a Tesla factory for three years, sleeping on a couch, under his desk, or in a rooftop tent.
