In her first public interview, Elon Musk’s daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson, didn’t hold back when discussing her relationship with the Tesla and Twitter CEO. Speaking with Teen Vogue, the 20-year-old called her father a “pathetic man-child” and stated she wasn’t afraid of his power or influence. Wilson, one of six children from Musk’s marriage to Justine Musk, discussed a range of topics, including her childhood and her transition.
Wilson was particularly blunt about her desire to distance herself from her father, sharing that she legally changed her name and gender last year. She stated she filed a petition specifically requesting to not be related to her biological father “in any way, shape, or form.” A Los Angeles County Superior Court judge granted the name change.
Wilson also revealed her father was not supportive of her transition, contrasting his reaction with her mother’s hesitant but ultimately accepting stance. She noted she hadn’t spoken to Musk for months and needed his consent for hormone treatments.
