Nearly 30,000 pounds of Chomps beef sticks are being recalled due to the potential presence of metal fragments. The USDA issued the recall Wednesday after the manufacturer, Idaho Smokehouse Partners, received two consumer complaints.
The recall affects 1.15-ounce packages of “CHOMPS ORIGINAL BEEF STICK MILD” with a February 10, 2026 expiration date and lot code 25016. The establishment number 6220A will also be present on the packaging. These products were shipped to retailers in California and Illinois.
While no injuries have been reported, consumers are urged not to eat the recalled beef sticks. Instead, they should discard the product or return it to the store where it was purchased. Anyone concerned about a potential injury after consuming the product should contact a healthcare provider.
