A Drew Carey Doppelganger Appears on “The Price is Right,” and Fans Can’t Get Enough
Viewers of “The Price is Right” are used to seeing all sorts of contestants, from soon-to-be-famous faces to everyday people. But a recent episode featured a contestant who caused quite a stir – a Drew Carey lookalike!
Host Drew Carey was visibly surprised when contestant Jim, dressed almost identically to Carey, joined him on stage. “Everybody, get a shot of this,” Carey quipped, having previously joked that Jim looked like him “on a bender.”
Jim played the Any Number game for a chance at a Ford F-150 truck, a sofa, or a cash prize. While Carey tried to coax an excited reaction from Jim for the sofa, Jim clearly had his eyes on the truck. Unfortunately, his luck ran out, and he ultimately won the sofa.
Despite not winning the grand prize, Jim’s appearance was a hit with viewers. Social media comments poured in, with many noting his resemblance to both Drew Carey and comedian Chris Farley.
One commenter joked that Jim would win a Drew Carey lookalike contest, while another predicted the moment would be a lifelong memory for Carey. Another commenter even chimed in, claiming to know Jim personally and highlighting his work as a preacher and leader of a homeless shelter.
