Comedian Amy Schumer continues to be candid with her fans, this time opening up about her recent weight loss journey. In a new Instagram video, Schumer, seated in her car, shared her experiences with weight loss medications and a virtual health clinic.

Schumer, who jokingly referred to herself as the internet’s “favorite comedian with no top lip,” has been open about her health struggles, including endometriosis and Cushing’s Syndrome, and her attempts to manage her weight. She previously discussed trying Ozempic and undergoing liposuction, resulting in a 30-pound weight loss.

However, she expressed concerns about the rapid nature of the weight loss and how Ozempic affected her energy levels. She stated, “I lost 30 pounds so quick.

I looked great, but I couldn’t lift my head off the pillow. So, what’s the point?”

She also revealed she tried Wegovy, another weight loss drug, but stopped due to adverse effects.

The 43-year-old actress shared that she has entered perimenopause and has been working with Midi Health, a virtual clinic specializing in perimenopause, menopause, and weight loss. Schumer praised the clinic’s affordability, expressing her desire to recommend it to others.

Medical professionals at Midi Health prescribed her estrogen and progesterone, in addition to the weight loss medication Mounjaro. Schumer reported positive results, stating that her perimenopause symptoms have subsided, her hair and skin have improved, and she has more energy.

She specifically mentioned that “Mounjaro’s been great” and she’s having a “really good experience” with it. Other celebrities, including Whoopi Goldberg and Tori Spelling, have also spoken favorably about Mounjaro.

Schumer’s willingness to discuss her experiences resonates with many, and fans will undoubtedly be interested in any future updates she shares about her health journey.
