Ryan Reynolds Faces Criticism for Daughter’s Vulgar Line in “Deadpool & Wolverine”

Ryan Reynolds is under fire for letting his daughter, Inez, deliver a particularly vulgar line in the new “Deadpool & Wolverine” film. During a commentary track for the movie, Reynolds revealed that Inez, who was seven at the time of filming, played a younger version of Deadpool and yelled, “Hey, when I want your opinion, I’ll take Wolverine’s d*ck out of your mouth!” at her father’s character.

Reynolds admitted feeling guilty about the situation, explaining that Inez initially resisted saying the line but later changed her mind after he began considering other actors for the part. Director Shawn Levy added that Inez ended up repeating the line numerous times, somewhere between 70 and 500 takes.

The revelation sparked considerable backlash online, with many criticizing Reynolds’s decision. On Reddit, users questioned the necessity of having Inez deliver the line herself, suggesting alternatives such as dubbing or rewriting the scene. Some argued that the line could have been removed entirely, while others expressed discomfort with a child performing such a sexually suggestive joke, calling it “disgusting and violating.”
