Actress Kim Delaney Arrested Following Domestic Dispute
Actress Kim Delaney, known for her roles on “NYPD Blue” and “Army Wives,” was arrested Saturday morning on felony assault charges. Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded to a domestic disturbance call at Delaney’s Marina del Rey residence around 9:45 a.m.
Following an investigation, Delaney was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. Her partner, James Morgan, was also arrested and charged with battery.
Delaney was booked at the Marina del Rey Sheriff’s Station and charged with assault likely to produce gross bodily injury. She was still in custody as of Saturday afternoon.
Morgan was released on $20,000 bail. Both are scheduled to appear in court on April 1st.
According to reports, the arrests followed a heated argument between Delaney and Morgan that became physical. Paramedics were called to the scene to assess potential injuries.
This is not Delaney’s first encounter with law enforcement. In 2002, she was arrested for drunk driving and sentenced to two years’ probation.
The following year, she entered rehab to address her struggles with alcoholism. More recently, Delaney’s social media posts depicted a happy relationship with Morgan, including celebrating their second wedding anniversary in October.
