Pop superstar Katy Perry has announced that singer Rebecca Black will join her upcoming “Lifetimes” tour. Perry shared the news on Instagram with a photo of the pair, Perry in a floral mini-top and baggy trousers, and Black in a leopard-print mini dress.

Perry captioned the post with a playful nod to Black’s hit song “Friday,” writing, “About to spend a lot more Fridays with @msrebeccablack. WELCOME TO THE LIFETIMES TOUR BABES.”

But the tour isn’t Perry’s only upcoming adventure. The singer is also set to blast off into space as part of Blue Origin’s first all-female crew.

The mission, led by Lauren Sánchez, is scheduled to launch on April 14th from West Texas. Perry will be joined by a stellar crew including CBS Mornings host Gayle King, NASA scientist Aisha Bowe, and others.

In an Instagram post, Perry expressed her excitement, stating, “If you had told me that I would be part of the first-ever all-female crew in space, I would have believed you…I am honored to be among this diverse group of celestial sisters.” She also noted the importance of the mission as an example for her daughter, showing that women can and should “take up space.”
