Golfer Wins Car on Game Show With Easy Putt

Additional Coverage:

Talk about a sure thing! Professional golfer Travis recently appeared on “The Price is Right” and played the Hole In One game for a Hyundai Venue.

Host Drew Carey jokingly warned Travis to “hang his head” if he missed, then proceeded to sink his own putt (despite claiming “I don’t golf”). Travis, using clubs he identified as “Scottie Scheffler baby” clubs (a nod to the world’s number one golfer), then calmly sank his putt from even closer range, winning the car with what might be the easiest Hole In One victory in the show’s history.

It’s not always so easy, though. In a heartwarming contrast, 84-year-old Margaret also won a car playing Hole In One, but her victory was a bit more dramatic.

After her initial putt missed the mark, host Drew Carey revealed a twist: the game was actually “Hole In One or Two.” Margaret’s second putt was a winner, sending the octogenarian and her family into joyful celebration.

Carey quipped about Margaret’s “unusual putting style,” proving that sometimes, it’s not how you play the game, but whether you win or lose (or win a new car!).
