John, 78, has recently been facing health challenges due to an eye infection that has significantly impacted his vision. Despite this, he delivered a captivating performance with Carlile, showcasing two tracks from the new album: “Little Richard’s Bible” and the title track, “Who Believes in Angels?”. John, looking dapper in a white embellished jacket and vibrant green glasses, and Carlile, sporting a striking red, black, and white suit, clearly captivated the audience.
Fans online expressed their enthusiasm for John’s return, praising him as a “living legend” and remarking on his energetic performance.
In a recent interview, John opened up about the difficulties posed by his impaired vision, expressing the distress of not being able to fully engage in activities like watching his sons, Zachary and Elijah, play sports.
