Man Wins Car on Game Show’s First Try

Additional Coverage:

Talk about beginner’s luck! A recent “Price is Right” contestant named Kyle rolled his way onto the stage and then casually won a car, leaving host Drew Carey speechless.

Kyle, a young man with a flair for the dramatic, literally rolled onto the stage before joining Carey. Up for grabs were some fancy flatware and, much more excitingly, a Ford Fiesta. Kyle’s reaction made it clear which prize he had his eye on.

The game was Any Number. Players have to guess the digits in the price of the car, but can also win smaller prizes (like the flatware) if they correctly guess their prices first.

Kyle was given the first digit of the car’s price: a 1. He then proceeded to correctly guess the remaining four digits – 6, 4, 8, and 3 – revealing the car’s price of $16,483.

Carey, stunned, could only say, “Just like that. I can’t believe that.”

Social media erupted with excitement. One commenter, claiming to be in the audience that day, confirmed Kyle’s win was pure luck and that contestants’ phones are confiscated before the show.

Amazingly, Kyle isn’t the only recent contestant to sweep Any Number. Another player, Riley, also aced the game, winning a Nissan priced at $19,860 after being given the first digit (a 1) and then correctly guessing the remaining digits. It seems lightning can strike twice on the Price is Right!
