Janelle Brown Says Goodbye to Flagstaff, Hello New Beginnings
Sister Wives star Janelle Brown has officially closed her chapter in Flagstaff, Arizona, marking a fresh start after her split from Kody Brown. Janelle has relocated to North Carolina, leaving behind not only her ex-husband and his remaining wife, Robyn, but also the bittersweet memories of her late son Garrison.
Now residing in the Tar Heel State with her daughter Madison, son-in-law Caleb, and her four grandchildren, Janelle is busy building a new life. Between her burgeoning business, Taeda Farms, constructing a home on recently purchased land, and cherishing time with family, Janelle made time for one last task: moving her final belongings out of Flagstaff.
Over the weekend, Janelle shared snapshots on her Instagram Story documenting the move, assisted by friends Angela and Kristina. With captions like “Sad to see you leave…but we are so proud and happy for you,” the photos captured the mix of emotions surrounding the finality of the move. A subsequent Reel set to Bachman-Turner Overdrive’s “Takin’ Care of Business” showed Janelle unloading the last of her items from a storage unit, explaining that it contained “little things” left over from her move out of her Flagstaff apartment.
This news comes shortly after a significant development regarding the Brown family’s Coyote Pass property. After some legal maneuvering, as teased in upcoming episodes of Sister Wives, Kody transferred portions of the land, granting equal ownership to himself, Robyn, Janelle, and Meri. Court documents confirm the division of the property, with Kody and Robyn retaining ownership of one parcel, while Christine, who previously sold her share, is no longer involved in the land ownership.
The Coyote Pass property was initially purchased in 2018 with the vision of each wife building a home and the family retiring together. However, with the dissolution of Kody’s plural marriage and the wives relocating, that dream never materialized. While Janelle embarks on her new life in North Carolina, Meri has returned to her family home in Utah, and Christine has also settled in Utah with her new husband.
