Mickey Rourke Receives Warning on Celebrity Big Brother for Comments Toward JoJo Siwa
Hollywood actor Mickey Rourke has received a formal warning from Big Brother for using “offensive and unacceptable” language toward fellow housemate JoJo Siwa. The incident unfolded shortly after Rourke entered the Celebrity Big Brother house.
The 72-year-old actor questioned Siwa about her sexuality, to which she responded that she prefers girls and that her partner is non-binary. Rourke then made several comments, including stating he would vote “the lesbian out real quick” and telling Siwa she “won’t be gay anymore” if he stayed in the house longer than four days. He also used a derogatory term for a cigarette, directing it at Siwa, although he later claimed he was referring to an actual cigarette.
Siwa was reportedly upset by the exchange, and Rourke was summoned to the diary room where he received a formal warning from Big Brother. He was told that further similar behavior could result in his removal from the show. Rourke apologized, claiming he was “just talking smack” and didn’t have any “dishonorable intentions.”
Following the warning, Rourke apologized to Siwa directly, explaining that he has a “short fuse.” Siwa accepted his apology. The exchange will air on Wednesday’s episode.
