GMA Meteorologist Ginger Zee Gets a Turn in the Co-Host Chair, Fans Clamor for More
Ginger Zee, chief meteorologist for ABC News, took a break from her usual weather duties to co-host GMA3 this week, delighting fans who are now calling for her to have her own show.
Zee posted photos on Instagram of her time on set with co-hosts Eva Pilgrim, Will Reeve, and DeMarco Morgan. The photos showed the group with celebrity chef Masaharu Morimoto, learning to make grilled vegetable sushi, and with actress Sheryl Lee Ralph. Zee’s caption encouraged viewers to tune in and watch.
The post was flooded with positive comments, with several fans suggesting Zee should have her own program. One fan even jokingly suggested the name “Good Morning America 4.”
Zee responded to the comments with appreciation, acknowledging she was just filling in but thanking viewers for their support. She also expressed gratitude to a fan who commented on enjoying seeing her outside of the regular GMA broadcast.
