Talk about a nail-biter! “The Price is Right” contestant Erik took a gamble, wore a shirt that read “I Need a Ride Home,” and boy, did he get one! He managed to win a $46,000 Range Rover Evoque S in a down-to-the-wire game of Three Strikes.
With the audience on the edge of their seats, Erik faced the classic Price is Right tension: a bag full of numbered balls, some holding digits of the car’s price, and others hiding dreaded strikes. He needed to pull the correct numbers and place them in the right order to win. Three strikes, and he’d be walking home.
The game was a rollercoaster. Erik had some early misses, placing numbers in the wrong spot and racking up strikes.
The pressure mounted as he got down to the final few balls. With only two numbers left to find, he drew a strike, leaving him one wrong guess away from losing it all.
But luck was on Erik’s side. He pulled the final number, completing the price and winning the Range Rover.
Host Drew Carey summed it up perfectly: “He just won a $46,000 Range Rover. Man!
That’s pretty special right there!” And with that, Erik danced his way to his brand new ride.
It seems like his t-shirt prophecy came true!
