Whistleblower Claims Musk Team Hacked Labor Watchdog

Washington D.C. – A whistleblower has come forward alleging a significant cybersecurity breach at the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), potentially involving sensitive case files, and pointing the finger at Elon Musk’s technology team.

The complaint, filed by NLRB IT staffer Daniel Berulis and made public by Whistleblower Aid, claims Musk’s U.S. DOGE Service team had unusually broad access to the NLRB’s systems.

Berulis’s affidavit details suspicious activity, including the apparent tampering with logging protocols and the removal of roughly 10 gigabytes of data around early March. He stated that this level of data leaving the NLRB’s databases is highly unusual.

The NLRB, responsible for protecting workers’ organizing rights, has been a frequent target of criticism from major corporations, including Musk. Some critics have even sought to challenge the agency’s constitutional authority.

While the NLRB has disputed Berulis’s claims of a breach, the whistleblower further alleges that attempts to formally investigate the issue and involve the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) were inexplicably blocked by superiors.

The Senate Intelligence Committee, including Chairman Tom Cotton and Vice Chairman Mark Warner, has also been notified of the complaint. Requests for comment from Musk’s team, the NLRB, CISA, and the senators were not immediately returned.
