Beach Rescue Makes Waves for Zac Efron’s Brother

Miami Beach, FL—Actor Zac Efron’s brother, Dylan, found himself making headlines after a dramatic ocean rescue during his first-ever visit to South Beach. Efron, appearing on the “Brooke & Connor Make a Podcast,” recounted the surprising turn of events.

Arriving at the beach, Efron was met not with the typical sun-soaked scene, but with cries for help from the water. Strong currents and waves had several swimmers struggling, their arms raised in distress. Noticing the absence of lifeguards, Efron, along with friends Brandon and Sam Asghari, sprang into action.

Efron modestly described swimming back and forth, bringing two distressed swimmers safely to shore. While he downplayed his heroism, one of the rescued individuals expressed profound gratitude, embracing him on the beach.

Although Efron and his friends left the scene without fanfare, news of the rescue spread. Efron himself expressed surprise at the media attention, summing up his unusual beach experience as, “Miami’s weird.”
