Rihanna’s Met Gala After-Party Look: Bold and Bump-tastic
Rihanna, never one to shy away from a fashion statement, continued to wow onlookers at a Met Gala after-party in New York City on Monday, May 5. After confirming her third pregnancy on the red carpet earlier that evening, the Fenty mogul embraced her growing baby bump in a daring ensemble.
Rihanna sported a black ruffled blouse, strategically unbuttoned to showcase her midriff, paired with a satin blazer and a leather skirt featuring lace-up sides. The all-black look was accessorized with a crystal choker, a lace bandana, a sleek leather clutch, and black lace-up Christian Louboutin pumps. Her makeup was classic Rihanna: bronzed contour and a rich brown lip.
Earlier, on the Met Gala’s blue carpet, Rihanna stunned in a pinstripe ensemble consisting of a cropped blazer, a corset highlighting her baby bump, and an open-front pinstripe skirt. A wide-brimmed hat and polka dot necktie added a vintage flair.
A$AP Rocky, co-chair of this year’s Met Gala and father of Rihanna’s two sons, RZA (2) and Riot (21 months), expressed his joy to reporters, stating, “It feels amazing. It’s time that we show the people what we was cooking up. And I’m glad everybody’s happy for us ’cause we definitely happy.”
