Crutching Pistols Fetch $15,000 on “Pawn Stars”

A recent episode of “Pawn Stars” featured an unusual and intriguing item: a pair of crutches concealing hidden pistols. The seller, unsure of their value, brought the unique weapons to Rick Harrison, who enlisted the expertise of Alex Cranmer, CEO of International Military Antiques.

Cranmer was immediately impressed, noting the unique construction of the pistols, which featured brass washers grafted directly into the crutches. To assess their functionality, the group headed to a shooting range. Chum Lee volunteered to test the pistols, successfully obliterating an apple target with a blast of gunpowder.

Cranmer estimated the crutches could fetch $25,000 at auction. While the seller hoped for the full amount, Harrison negotiated the price down to $15,000, ultimately striking a deal.

The unusual item sparked humorous reactions online. One YouTube commenter quipped, “When you’re crippled but hitman life is forever.”

Another joked about Clint Eastwood using the weaponized crutches. A self-proclaimed enthusiast chimed in, calling them some of the most unique black powder pistols they had ever seen.
