Bill Belichick’s Girlfriend Jordon Hudson Places Third in Miss Maine Pageant
New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick recently traded the sidelines for the front row of a beauty pageant. His girlfriend, 24-year-old Jordon Hudson, competed in the Miss Maine competition this past Sunday, vying for the chance to represent the state at Miss USA. While Hudson impressed, she ultimately placed third, with the crown going to Bangor real estate agent Shelby Howell.
The presence of the legendary coach brought significant attention to the pageant, held at the Holiday Inn by the Bay in Portland. The couple’s relationship has been a topic of conversation since they went public last June, particularly after Hudson’s appearance during Belichick’s “CBS Sunday Morning” interview in April.
During the competition, Hudson reportedly alluded to the recent scrutiny, stating, “I’m feeling an immense amount of pride right now. I’m hoping that anybody who’s watching this finds the strength to push through whatever it is that they’re going through, and embodies that hate never wins.”
The aftermath of the pageant also saw its share of news. Howell’s press conference was reportedly cut short by an official after questions arose regarding Belichick’s presence and the inclusion of the first transgender contestant in Miss Maine history.
This isn’t Hudson’s first foray into the world of pageants. The Hancock native was the third runner-up in the 2020 Miss Massachusetts Teen USA competition and the first runner-up in Miss Maine USA 2024.
She has also spoken out about her views on pageantry, describing beauty queens as “contemporary suffragettes” in a social media post earlier this year. She emphasized the evolution of pageantry and its continued focus on women’s rights and empowerment.
Now, it falls to Howell to try and secure Maine’s first-ever Miss USA title in the competition’s 73-year history.
