Cassie Ventura testified against Sean “Diddy” Combs in his federal trafficking trial on Tuesday, with her husband Alex Fine present for support. Fine, a celebrity fitness trainer and former college football player, remained in the courtroom spectator section for much of Ventura’s pivotal testimony, offering comfort to his wife. Combs’ legal team had previously attempted to bar Fine from the proceedings, but the judge ruled that he could stay except during the discussion of a specific incident.
Ventura, who married Fine in 2019, has accused Combs of physical and emotional abuse, alleging disturbing incidents at parties she referred to as “freak offs.” While Combs denies all allegations, including the trafficking charge, prosecutors say Ventura’s testimony is key to their case.
Fine, 31, began training Ventura personally after the two connected at a gym. The couple has two children, Frankie and Sunny, and are expecting their third, according to reports.
Throughout the legal battle, Fine has publicly supported his wife. In a February social media post, he wrote, “Men who hit women aren’t men.
Men who enable it and protect those people aren’t men. Our daughters, sisters, mothers, and wives should feel protected and loved.
Men who hurt women hate women.” He also shared a photo of his family, referencing Ventura’s pregnancy as the “best gift.”
Fine’s presence at the courthouse drew attention on social media, with some users commenting on his demeanor. One user wrote that he looked “traumatized,” while others praised him for supporting Ventura.
Fine has frequently expressed his admiration for his wife online. In a 2024 birthday tribute, he called her “the greatest Mama” and “the bestest Wife in the world.”
A Michigan native, Fine played football at Central Michigan University before transitioning to a career as a celebrity trainer. He also participates in bull riding.
