Royal Rift Deepens Over Bullying Allegations Against Meghan Markle

Allegations of bullying lodged against Meghan Markle reportedly ignited a furious row between Prince William and Prince Harry, further straining their already tense relationship. According to Robert Lacey’s book, Battle of Brothers, the Prince of Wales was both “astonished” and “horrified” by the claims brought forth by royal aide Jason Knauf. Raised to treat staff with the utmost respect, a value instilled by Queen Elizabeth II, William reportedly viewed the alleged behavior as a breach of royal tradition.

The accusations, detailed in a “dossier of distress” compiled by Knauf, reportedly prompted William to immediately confront his brother. The conversation quickly escalated, with Harry vehemently defending his wife.

Lacey recounts that the argument ended abruptly with Harry angrily hanging up the phone. Undeterred, William then sought out Harry for an in-person confrontation.

The Duchess of Sussex was accused of creating a “toxic work environment,” with claims of relentless early morning emails and a constant barrage of messages flooding staff inboxes. Employees reportedly described feeling stressed and anxious, even physically shaking before meetings with the Duchess.

The book further alleges that Markle raised her voice and humiliated staff. One palace courtier is quoted as saying, “Meghan governed by fear.

Nothing was ever good enough for her.”
