Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, stunned onlookers with her elegant monochrome ensemble at Westminster Abbey’s Service of Thanksgiving commemorating the 80th anniversary of VE Day on May 8th.

Accompanied by Prince William, King Charles, Queen Camilla, and other members of the royal family, the Princess of Wales captivated attendees in a familiar favorite: a long-sleeved polka dot silk midi dress by Alessandra Rich, previously worn at the Order of the Garter Service in June 2023.

The Princess complemented the dress with a Juliette Botterill hat, also seen on last year’s Remembrance Sunday, a tan DeMellier handbag, and tan Ralph Lauren heels. Her hair was styled in an intricate low bun. Adding a touch of sentimental sparkle, she chose Princess Diana’s Collingwood drop pearl earrings, a piece she has worn on numerous occasions.

Fans were quick to praise her classic style on social media. Comments ranged from “absolutely beautiful, elegant, and amazing” to “the epitome of classic elegance,” echoing the widespread admiration for the Princess’s timeless fashion choices.
