Singer Cassie Ventura, who recently gave birth to her third child, a son, remains a key figure in the ongoing sex crimes trial of her ex-boyfriend, Sean “Diddy” Combs.
Ventura, 38, and her husband, Alex Fine, welcomed their baby boy on Tuesday. The couple, who married in 2019, also share two daughters, Frankie, 5, and Sunny, 4. News of the birth was initially reported by TMZ and later confirmed by sources close to the family.
This joyous occasion comes amidst Ventura’s involvement in Combs’ high-profile trial. Testifying as “Victim 1,” Ventura’s account of alleged abuse, including rape and coerced sexual encounters, forms a cornerstone of the prosecution’s case.
Legal experts have highlighted her testimony as crucial to portraying Combs negatively in the eyes of the jury. The trial, which began on May 12th, is anticipated to span eight weeks.
