Princess’s Motorcycle Crash a Near-Death Experience

Italian Princess Maria Carolina of Bourbon-Two Sicilies, 21, is counting her blessings after a serious motorcycle accident. The princess, daughter of Prince Carlo, Duke of Castro, and Princess Camilla, Duchess of Castro, shared details of the crash on her Instagram account.

She revealed she hit a wall headfirst and was subsequently treated in intensive care. “I’m incredibly lucky to be alive,” she stated, emphasizing the importance of motorcycle safety.

The princess urged followers to wear proper safety gear, particularly helmets, crediting hers with saving her life. She expressed gratitude to the medical team at Centre Hospitalier Princesse Grace, as well as first responders.

Just days before the accident, Princess Maria Carolina attended the Monaco Grand Prix, sharing photos with race winner Lando Norris and her family. She also recently attended the Cannes Film Festival opening ceremony and celebrated her 21st birthday with a lavish party in Sardinia last year.
