Sydney Sweeney Turns Bathwater Into Soap

Additional Coverage:

Hold on to your loofahs, folks! “Euphoria” star Sydney Sweeney is making a splash with a new product that’s raising eyebrows – and maybe a few questions about hygiene.

Partnering with Dr. Squatch, the men’s natural body wash brand, Sweeney has bottled (well, bar-ified) her bathwater into a limited-edition soap.

The inspiration? A viral Dr.

Squatch commercial featuring Sweeney in a bathtub, which apparently led to a deluge of fan requests for her bathwater. Sweeney and the company listened, and “Sydney’s Bathwater Bliss” was born.

Available for a limited time starting June 6th for $8 a bar, the soap boasts a “morning wood” scent – a blend of pine, fir, moss, and, yes, a “touch” of Sweeney’s bathwater. The ingredient list playfully refers to the bathwater as a “narrative element” and “one of nature’s finest aphrodisiacs.”

The marketing campaign highlights some of the more outlandish fan requests received by the company, including using the bathwater for bonsai trees and – wait for it – eye drops.

While some fans expressed excitement, others were less enthusiastic, calling the product “disgusting” on social media. Sweeney, however, stands by her creation, calling it “weird in the best way” and “unforgettable.”

Dr. Squatch echoes this sentiment, describing the soap as “bizarre, unexpected,” and designed to make men think about their body care choices.
