Cher’s Son Hospitalized After Disturbance Call

Additional Coverage:

Cher’s son, Elijah Blue Allman, 48, was hospitalized over the weekend following a disturbance call to a residence in Landers, California. San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene where Allman was being evaluated by medical personnel.

Authorities confirmed that drugs were found inside the home. The investigation is ongoing.

Allman’s estranged wife, Marieangela King Allman, released a statement acknowledging his ongoing personal challenges but emphasizing his commitment to sobriety. She expressed unwavering support for Allman and highlighted his strength and resilience.

While a representative for Cher declined to comment on the incident, this latest news brings renewed attention to the often-tumultuous relationship between Cher and Allman’s late father, Gregg Allman. The pair married in 1975, just days after Cher’s divorce from Sonny Bono, but the marriage was short-lived and marked by periods of separation.

They had one child together, Elijah Blue, before ultimately divorcing in 1978. Gregg Allman, a founding member of The Allman Brothers Band, passed away in 2017.
