Kanye Allowed Back in Diddy’s Courtroom

Additional Coverage:

Rapper Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, has been granted access to the courtroom for Sean “Diddy” Combs’ ongoing sex-trafficking trial in Manhattan. After initially being denied entry last week, Ye has now been added to Combs’ official guest list, ensuring him a seat alongside Combs’ family.

Ye’s previous attempt to attend the trial last Friday was unsuccessful due to his name not being on the approved list. He was directed to an overflow room to view the proceedings, where he stayed for about 30 minutes before departing.

While it’s uncertain if Ye will return to the courtroom, his support for Combs has been evident. He previously used social media to advocate for Combs’ release, referring to him by the moniker “Puff.”

The trial, now in its sixth week, is expected to see the prosecution rest its case this week, after which Combs’ defense will present their arguments. Combs has pleaded not guilty to the charges, with his legal team maintaining that any sexual encounters with the accusers were consensual.
