Local Air Force Veteran Wins Big on ‘The Price is Right’

A 30-year retired Air Force veteran stunned audiences and host Drew Carey with a savvy win on “The Price is Right,” skillfully navigating the show’s “Card Game” to drive away in a brand new car.

The veteran, Timothy, was playing for a 2025 Snow White Pearl Kia K-4 LXS. The “Card Game” requires contestants to bid on the car within a specific price range, using cards to adjust their bids. Each card represents a dollar amount that is added to a base price, with the ace offering a unique opportunity for strategic play.

Timothy started strong, drawing a $1,000 card and a base price of $15,000. His next card, a four, brought his bid to $15,400.

Then came the game-changer: an ace. With the option to add any amount to his bid, Timothy boldly raised it to $24,000, setting a winning range of $24,000 to $25,000.

The tension mounted as Carey revealed the actual price of the car: $24,540. A perfect landing right in the middle of Timothy’s range. The studio erupted in cheers as Carey exclaimed, “30 years airborne and he won himself a new car!”

Viewers at home shared the excitement. One commenter on the show’s YouTube channel praised Timothy’s “best use of an ace in a long, long time.” Congratulations to Timothy on his impressive win!
