- Kim and Khloe Kardashian use Jeff Bezos’ wedding to ‘self-promote’ and ‘signal singleton’ status (themirror.com)
Kim and Khloe Kardashian’s antics at Jeff Bezos’ wedding have been labeled as “self-promotional” by a body language expert. The lavish Venetian wedding saw a host of celebrities, including the Kardashian sisters, who apparently stole the show, but perhaps not for the right reasons.
While their younger sisters, Kylie and Kendall Jenner, maintained a lower profile, Kim and Khloe turned heads from the moment they arrived, clad in a plunging catsuit, to their swift exit after the brief ceremony. Body language expert Judi James analyzed their behavior, suggesting the reality TV stars treated the event more like a personal publicity opportunity than a celebration of their friends’ union.
James commented on their “self-flaunting body language,” citing their poses on a water taxi, complete with “duck-face pouts” and “V-signs,” as reminiscent of “20-year-old bridesmaids.” She noted they seemed “happily obsessed with their own image,” contrasting their behavior with the more subdued presence of other A-listers like Leonardo DiCaprio.
James further analyzed their wardrobe choices, interpreting their “snake/lizard skin” rehearsal dinner dresses as an attempt to “signal singleton sensuality.” She also commented on their glamorous wedding day attire, observing that the sisters immediately struck poses for the cameras upon entering their water taxi.
According to James, the sisters remained “on-brand” throughout the event, using it as a platform for self-promotion. She described their behavior as typical of “single sisters,” partying and continuing their “swathe of selfies” on the water taxi back, appearing slightly “bleary-eyed.”
Earlier in the week, James also analyzed Kim’s interaction with Orlando Bloom, suggesting their body language indicated a “close friends” vibe.
