Queen Bey Handles Houston Malfunction Like a Pro
Houston, we had a slight problem, but Beyoncé handled it like the queen she is. During her Saturday night “Cowboy Carter” show, a technical glitch caused the singer’s flying car prop to tilt mid-air while performing “16 Carriages.”
Fan videos show the star, seemingly secured by a harness, calmly asking the crew to “Stop” as the red convertible slanted precariously. The music stopped, the car was lowered, and Beyoncé, ever the professional, reassured the crowd, expressing her love for Houston and her confidence in their support.
Her publicist confirmed the incident, stating that a technical mishap caused the tilt, but thankfully, no one was injured, and the show went on. Beyoncé later took to Instagram to share photos from the concert, simply captioning them, “I love you, Houston.”
The Houston shows follow the international leg of her tour, which included sold-out performances in London and Paris.
