McDonald’s Adds New “Daily Double” Burger to Menu

McDonald’s is expanding its menu once again with the nationwide launch of the Daily Double burger on July 22, 2025. The new burger, an enhanced version of the classic McDouble, has already been tested in select markets like Seattle, Chicago, and Miami.

So, what makes the Daily Double different? While it features the same two beef patties and single slice of American cheese as the McDouble, the toppings get an upgrade.

Instead of the standard ketchup, mustard, pickles, and onions, the Daily Double boasts slivered onions, lettuce, tomato slices, and mayonnaise. A perfect choice for mayo lovers or those seeking a fresher burger experience.

The Daily Double will be featured as part of the McValue Meal Deal, which includes a 4-piece McNugget, small fries, and a small drink. The bundle will cost around $6 or $7, depending on location, roughly a dollar more than the McDouble version of the meal deal. While the Daily Double can be purchased separately, the a la carte price, ranging between $4.19 and $4.39 in some Midwestern locations, makes the McValue Meal Deal a better value.

Although slated for nationwide release on July 22nd as part of the McValue Meal Deal, some McDonald’s locations are already offering the Daily Double a la carte. Burger enthusiasts eager to try the new offering should check with their local McDonald’s for availability. It’s important to note that the Daily Double is a limited-time item and will only be available until the end of the year.
