Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Fate in Hands of Jury
The jury is deliberating in the sex trafficking trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs. The panel of eight men and four women, ranging in age from 30 to 74, began deliberations on June 30, 2025.
While their identities remain protected, their diverse backgrounds and occupations offer a glimpse into the group tasked with deciding Combs’ fate. They include a massage therapist and actor, an investment analyst, a deli clerk, a nursing home aide, a corrections facility communications worker, several retirees, a physician assistant, a social worker, and a logistics analyst.
Early in the deliberations, the jury raised concerns about one juror, identified as Juror No. 25, a 51-year-old Manhattan resident with a PhD in molecular biology and neuroscience. The jury expressed concern to the judge that Juror No. 25 was unable to follow instructions. The judge responded by reminding all jurors of their obligation to deliberate and adhere to the court’s instructions.
The jury also submitted a question regarding the legal definition of distributing controlled substances, specifically inquiring whether providing someone with drugs at their request constitutes distribution. The judge requested input from both the prosecution and defense on how best to address this query.
After approximately five hours of deliberation, the jury was dismissed for the day. A verdict is expected in the coming days.
