Hollywood Walk of Fame Announces Star-Studded Class of 2026
A dazzling array of entertainers will be immortalized on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2026. The latest inductees, announced Wednesday, include actors Miley Cyrus, Timothée Chalamet, Demi Moore, Emily Blunt, Rachel McAdams, and Molly Ringwald; TV personalities Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos; NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal; and musicians such as Paulinho da Costa, The Clark Sisters, and Miley Cyrus. Posthumous honors will be given to Italian special effects artist Carlo Rambaldi and director Tony Scott.
The Walk of Fame selection committee recognized individuals across five categories: motion pictures, television, live theater and live performance, recording, and sports entertainment. Notably absent this year were any honorees from the radio category.
For some, the honor holds special significance. Cyrus reminisced about her childhood visits to Hollywood Boulevard, sharing a heartfelt Instagram post expressing how surreal it feels to be honored alongside the icons who inspired her. This comes after a humorous incident where Cyrus filmed a music video on the Walk of Fame, only to later develop a knee infection from the experience.
This year’s honorees also highlight some interesting connections. Moore and Ringwald join fellow Brat Pack member Rob Lowe on the Walk of Fame. Blunt will be honored alongside her brother-in-law, Stanley Tucci, with whom she starred in “The Devil Wears Prada.”
Inductees are responsible for an $85,000 sponsorship fee covering the star’s creation, installation, and maintenance. They have two years to schedule their ceremonies.
