Whoopi Goldberg’s return to The View on July 7th wasn’t without a touch of the bizarre. After a two-week absence, the actress greeted the live audience with her usual enthusiasm, but a strange noise soon disrupted the proceedings.
Just as Goldberg launched into the Hot Topics segment, an eerie sound filled the studio. While it’s unclear whether the noise originated from microphone feedback or another source, it was noticeable enough to draw attention. Undeterred, Goldberg continued, addressing the severe flooding in Texas and urging viewers in affected areas to stay safe.
Interestingly, Goldberg’s co-hosts seemed unfazed by the mysterious sound. It’s also unknown if Goldberg herself was aware of the noise during the broadcast. Goldberg’s two-week hiatus was spent in Italy, where she received an award for her book, “Bits and Pieces.”
