After six years of marriage, Denise Richards and Aaron Phypers are headed for divorce. Phypers, a businessman, filed the petition in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Monday, citing “irreconcilable differences” and listing July 4 as the date of separation.
Richards, 54, known for her roles in “Wild Things” and “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” married Phypers, 49, in 2018. While they don’t have children together, Richards has two adult daughters with ex-husband Charlie Sheen and a teenage adopted daughter. Phypers was previously married to Nicollette Sheridan.
Court documents indicate Phypers is seeking spousal support from Richards. He claims to have been without income since closing a business last year, while estimating Richards earns over $250,000 monthly from various ventures, including brand deals, television appearances, and OnlyFans content. He has also requested that their assets remain separate, including his tools, motorcycle, and sports car.
The couple began dating in 2017 and had a private Malibu wedding in September 2018, shortly after Phypers’ divorce from Sheridan was finalized. Ironically, in the debut episode of her Peacock series “Denise Richards & Her Wild Things” earlier this year, Richards emphatically stated she would never divorce again, even if it meant living separately.
